Fishing Trip: One location we offer it all for a canadian fishing trip. Walleye and Northern Pike on Lac Seul, Muskie, Lake Trout and Smallmouth Bass on Big Vermilion Lake.

Camping: Country Camping can accommodate RV's, trailers, fifth wheels, truck campers and tents. Plenty of pull through sites and group camping is welcome. Sites are located amongst the pine trees on the shore of Big Vermilion Lake

Bass / Smallmouth Bass: Smallmouth Bass are very common in both Lac Seul and Big Vermilion Lakes. A moderately large fish - usually 12 to 20 inches long. Smallies can get up to 6 or 7 lbs. Smallies are notorious homebodies and often stay around the same structure all sum

Northern Pike: Northern Pike - the KEEPER OF THE NORTH. Sizes of Northern range from 25 inch to 45 inch consistently. Scattered throughout every lake in the area. Too many lakes for one vacation but we suggest getting started on Big Vermilion Lake and Lac Seul.

Muskie: Muskie - No other freshwater gamefish can stir the blood and raise hair on your neck like the "musky" can. Some of the finest muskie fishing within 10 minutes from Country Camping - right on Big Vermilion Lake.

Walleye: Walleye -FILLET MIGNON of Canada. Our waters consistently produce better walleye populations and larger fish every year. Catch them on any type of lure or bait. Catch Walleye on any of these lakes - Lac Seul, Minnitaki, Abram and Pelican.

Trout / Lake Trout: Lakers are a coldwater fish which explains their abundant population in Big Vermilion Lake. Big Vermilion is a clear water lake with depths of 150 ft. Perfect habitat for trophy Lake Trout. Ice out & fall are the prime time to fish Lake Trout

Boat Rentals / Fishing Boats: Our fishing boats rentals are brand new Lunds and 25 hp Mercury Motors that are at your disposal.

Boat Launches: The Municipality of Sioux Lookout took over the operation of nine water access point boat launches. These sites are maintained on a regular basis to ensure the safety of your equipment. Access Lac Seul, Pelican, Abram or Minnitaki Lakes.

Boat Rentals / Paddle Boats: While on your family vacation at Country Camping & cabins if the kids want a break with something different why not try out our paddle boats.

Housekeeping Cabins: Cozy, Comfortable & clean. Four spacious housekeeping cabins that sleep up to 6 comfortably with 12x16 porches. Fully equipped with all the comforts of home for your fishing or family vacation to Sioux Lookout, Ontario on Big Vermilion Lake.

Campgrounds: Our campground at Country Camping & Cabins on Big Vermilion Lake can accommodate any type or RV's, motor homes,trailers,fifth wheels,truck campers,tents or tent trailers. We have plenty of pull through sites and group camping is more than welcome.

Campgrounds / RV Parks: Country Camping in Sioux Lookout, Ontario has a great RV park with full & partial hook ups. We are Located on Big Vermilion Lake & also have easy boat launch access to other great fishing lakes for walleye,northen pike & smallmouth bass if you wish.

Cabin Rentals: Our cabin rentals are fully modern accommodations that will meet the needs of any type of vacation in the Sioux Lookout. Screened in porches to enjoy a beautiful northwestern ontario sunset, barbecues, picnic tables, fire pits are also provided.

Cottage Rentals: While on your ontario fishing vacation to Big Vermilion Lake enjoy our fully modern cottage rentals. All the amenities for a housekeeping cabin are included making your vacation with us enjoyable.

Outposts: As well as our campground we have Uchi Lake Lodge which is an fly-in outpost like no other. With all inclusive american plan or housekeeping packages you just need sit back relax and enjoy some great canadian fishing for walleye and northern pike.

Drive In Access: Drive in to our campground on Big Vermilion Lake. If your border crossing is at International Falls,MN/Fort Frances, Ontario take hwy 11 to hwy 502 to Dryden, hwy 17 to Dinorwic, hwy 72 to Sioux Lookout where we are located.

Guides / Fishing: Fishing guide service is available for muskie, walleye, northern pike, smallmouth bass or Lake Trout. We put you with a guide that has been in the area for 50 years. A guide that matches the species you are seeking.

Amenities / Pets Allowed: Country Camping & Cabins is a family oriented camp where pets are part of the family so of course pets allowed is part of our policy.

Air Services / Day Trips: Uchi Lake Lodge welcomes you to one or two fly-in day trips. Located on Uchi Lake is a remote, full American Plan Lodge. Trophy fishing is a given on Uchi Lake. A must see to believe.

Family Vacations: Spend your canadian family vacation with us at Country Camping. As well as swimming off the dock there are numerous beaches in the Sioux Lookout area. Join us for the Blueberry Festival in August which is loaded with events for all ages.
