Fishing Trip: The English River system offers an abundance of walleye, northern pike & smallmouth bass for an exciting fishing trip. Secluded islands, private sand beaches make awesome spots for shore lunch, overnight camping or a relaxing day in the sun.

Camping: For an Ontario camping vacation we have spacious R.V. & campsites with views of the English River. We have a dump station on the grounds & a central shower house for camper use. Modern fish cleaning facilities & a concrete boat launch is available.

Hunting Trips: Our area in Northwestern Ontario has large population of black bear, moose, waterfowl & grouse to insure a successfull hunting trip.

Canoeing & Kayaking / Canoeing: canoeing,English River,camping,secluded islands,viewing an array of wildlife along the shore and just absorbing the scenic beauty and solitude of the Canadian northwoods at a leisurely pace. A nature photograghers dream!

Bass / Smallmouth Bass: When on your Ontario fishing trip on the English River System in Ignace, Ontario, running into a school of quality size smallmouth bass can keep both young & old anglers busy for hours.

Northern Pike: If you are a northern fisherman a great location for your fishing trip to Canada is the English River which has an enormous population of Northern Pike. Large pike are caught often & 48" trophy northern pike are caught & released each year!

Walleye: Plan a canadian walleye fishing trip in Ignace, Ontario and fish the English River System which is famous for it's abundance of golden walleye. From trophy walleye to the smaller tasty shore lunch size fishing is spectacular!!

Trout / Lake Trout: While on a canadian fishing trip at Cozy Camp on the English River System other fishing options could include a day on one of the many nearby lakes where the fish are also abundant. Lunker Lake Trout are found in Cecil Lake, a 5 minute drive away.

Trout / Brook Trout: We have 3 small stream fed lakes a short drive north of Cozy Camp where the Brook Trout fishing is excellent all year, several 5+lb are caught each year. They are common in the 8-13-inch range, perfect for pan frying for a canadian shore lunch.

Black Bear: At Cozy Camp in Ignace, Ontario we pride ourselves with having an extremely high success rate for canadian fall black bear hunts. Opportunities to take color phases with bow or rifle are excellent! This is a very affordable big game hunt!!

Moose: Moose hunts for Ontario residents - We have a large moose population in the Ignace area and your chances of success are very high. (W.M.U. 15A.)

Birds / Grouse: The Ruffed Grouse are abundant & the ducks plentiful. Hunting the bush roads by atv's you will see many grouse every day. Llocated on the English River a major flyway flocks of ducks gather feeding on wild rice beds, for some terrific wing shooting.

Boat Rentals / Fishing Boats: We have everything you need for your fishing trip including newer 16' Lund boats with 15 h.p. Johnson motors. Our fishing boats are fully outfitted with swivel seats, life jackets, etc. for your comfort & convenience.

Housekeeping Cabins: At Cozy Camp in Ignace, Ontario our modern waterfront housekeeping cabins sleep up to 8 people. Fully equipped kitchens, 3 pc. bathrooms & all bedding is provided. Perfect for a family vacation, corporate excursions or vacationing with friends.

Campgrounds / RV Parks: Cozy Camp RV park & campground is situated with views of the English River. The RV sites are pull through with electric & water hook-ups. Each has plenty of space to spread out so you don't feel cramped with other campers while enjoying your vacation

Cabin Rentals: We can offer you cabin rentals where you enjoy the fresh clean air and the pristine beauty of the Canadian northwoods from the decks of our fully modern housekeeping cabins on the Enlgish River System in the Ignace area of Northwestern Ontario.

Cottage Rentals: Cottage rentals at Cozy Camp on English River System come with fully equipped kitchens that provide everything you will need in a housekeeping cabin that can accomodate up to 8 people perfect for families or larger groups for their fishing trip.

Outposts: Enjoy a canadian vacation with great fishing on the English River System in our secluded outpost cabin. This rustic cabin sleeps five & is situated on a rock island where the English River & Gulliver River system come together & form Talking Falls.

Boat In Access: Looking for a more tranquil location for your vacation? Boat in to our outpost cabin just a short distance up the English River from our main base.

Drive In Access: Cozy Camp is a drive in resort only a 3.5 hours from the U.S. border. Our guests enjoy paved roads right to our doorstep! Just 20 miles north of hwy. 17 near Ignace sitting on hwy. 599, Cozy Camp is easily accessible.
