Camping: At Dog Lake Resort all of our flow through camping sites are conveniently located close to washrooms and showers, restaurant and beaches. These sites are spacious and easy to access, even for the novice driver.

Fishing Trip: For a fishing trip, Dog Lake has over 500 miles of shoreline and is made up of bays, islands and reefs. It is fed by the Dog River and East River systems creating ideal structure for producing world class Walleye, Smallmouth Bass, and Northern Pike.

Trails / Nature Trails: Our nature trails are great for those of you who enjoy hiking, birdwatching or just a pleasant walk with nature.

Walleye: Walleye is one of the best tasting of all the freshwater fish. In the Spring they tend to gather in large schools in specific locations, such as at the mouths of rivers and streams. Later, during the Summer months, they lurk near the islands & reefs.

Northern Pike: The Northern Pike of Dog Lake will give you more than you're bargaining for! He is a predator, a voracious eater who will go for practically any type of bait or lure. He is considered one of the fiercest of all freshwater game fish.

Bass / Smallmouth Bass: If you have a need for outrageous fishing action then this is the fish for you. The hundreds of shoals reefs and shallow back bays of Dog Lake are the ideal habitat for Smallmouth Bass.

Wildlife Viewing: Wildlife viewing in our area is plentiful, you may see Black Bear, the majestic canadian moose, Bald Eagles and many other species of wildlife.

Boat Rentals / Paddle Boats: For your enjoyment while on your family vacation with us we have paddle boats available for you.

Boat Launches: If you wish to bring your own boat Dog Lake Resort has a boat launch and docking facilities available to their guest at no extra cost.

Housekeeping Cabins: At Dog Lake Resort our houskeeping cabins have a breathtaking lake view with comfortable beds, linens, three-piece bath, towels, hot & cold running water, full fridge & freezer, stove, microwave, coffee maker, lawn chairs & a BBQ.

American Plan: Our American Plan Packages include a fully equipped lake view cabin, 3 piece bathroom, bedding & towels, 3 meals daily served in the Lodge Dining Room, 16' Lund boat with swivel seats & back-rests, 20 HP motor, gas, ice, bait, lake maps & more.

Cabin Rentals: Our cabin rentals on Dog Lake are constructed for guests comfort in mind, the resort features nine contemporary, spacious one and two bedroom log cabins, completely surrounded by tasteful decor which makes your fishing or family vacation complete.

Campgrounds / RV Parks: At Dog Lake Resort, we appreciate that RVcamping can be the most enjoyable means to spend family vacation time and take pleasure in the great outdoors. Being RV enthusiasts ourselves, we have tailored our campground/rv park to meet your demands.

Cottage Rentals: Our cottage rentals are located along the shores of Dog Lake. All cottages are fully modern and come equipped with all you need to enjoy a wonderful vacation in Ontario.

Drive In Access: Dog Lake Resort is a drive in resort located a short 2-hour Scenic drive from the U.S border crossing at Pigeon River, pass through Thunder Bay, Ontario to reach our lodge. Pigeon River is Located 4 hours North of Duluth, Minnesota.

Rentals / RV/Trailer Rentals: We offer RV/Trailer rentals in a semi-private location at the beach close to swimming at our resort on Dog Lake. We feature Jayco 5th wheel trailers for your comfort & convienence. They sleep 6 adults & feature the same amenities as our cabins.

Family Vacations: Our resort offers everything for a great family vacations, lakeview & beachfront housekeeping cabins - fully furnished,handicap accessible, children 12 and under stay free, and enjoy our beautiful sand beach for great swimming, 10% seniors' discount!
