Fort William Historical Park located in Thunder Bay, Ontario is a magnificent re-creation of the North West Company's impressive inland headquarters, named after Chief Director William McGillivray. The Fort is the hub of the Nor' Wester fur trade, allowing for the transfer of tons of furs and trade goods in one season, bringin together hunders of fur traders for the annual Rendezvous

Experience adventure in the early 1800s. Explore over 42 authentic, reconstructed buildings, including the artisan area, a working farm and Native camp. Meet the Scottish fur traders, French Canadian voyageurs, farmers & aboriginals who toil at the Fort.
