Hunting Trips: Ghost River Lodges offers unique ontario moose hunting trips,our outfitter service is a, family-run operation. We don't have large groups of hunters coming in during the season so the opportunities are high & guarantees a peaceful hunting experience.

Secluded Settings / Remote: We are a fishing lodge offering great walleye, northern pike & lake trout fishing, on lakes with no road access. Ghost River & Sturgeon River Camps are located on Marchington Lake a remote secluded setting, fed by 7 rivers & surrounded by 14 lakes.

Swimming / Sand Beach: Our beautiful white sand beaches, secluded settings, great for a shore lunch with the family. It makes a nice break, and a swimming in the lake on a hot day is very refreshing.

Walleye: When you fish Marchington Lake on your canadian fishing trip, walleye and northern pike will be your two main species of fish in the area and the fishing is excellent and there is always a chance to land that trophy walleye you have been looking for.

Northern Pike: An Ontario fishing trip to our lodge located on Marchington lake has the convenience of access to 15 different lakes, such as Clamshell, Ward, Mall, Split & more, each lake offering a unique fishing experience. The northern pike fishing is fantastic.

Conservation Fishing: Our conservation fishing program, in effect since 1995, has seen our trophy catch & release list grow by 25% yearly. We do allow walleyes up to 18 & nothern pike up to 27". No walleye are to be kept over 18 & no pike over 271/2" unless mounting them.

Trout / Lake Trout: When you are fishing from Ghost River Lodge and you want a change from walleye or northern pike fishing try some of our lakes that have lake trout.

Bass / Smallmouth Bass: An Ontario fishing trip where you can enjoy solitude & lakes that also hold populations of lake trout, smallmouth bass & perch, adding a nice variety for your fishing adventure.

Wildlife Viewing / Photography: If you like wildlife photography our resort offers great photo opportunities, moose, bear, wolves, eagles, loons, otter, deer, lynx, bluejays, whiskeyjacks,

Natural History: Our resort is surrounded by years of natural history such as remnants of an old logging community from the 30's and 40's, ruins from the old building, knowledge of the logging industry that existed in the past

Moose: The thrill of canadian moose hunting in is something to experience. Our camp is in prime moose country, located in the Sioux Lookout, Ontario area on part of a vast river system with literally hundreds of creeks, rivers, lakes and swamps.

Birds / Partridge: The thrill of hunting large or small animals, although we a remote resort we have many great trails for awesome partridge hunting. A great add on to your moose hunt.

Boat Rentals / Fishing Boats: For our fishing boat rentals we offer 14' Lund Boats with 15 hp motors for two people and 16' Lund Boats with 20 hp motors for three people, complete with swivel seats and anchors.

Boat Cache: If you chose to fish on our outlakes, we have boat caches waiting for you on the other side of the portage. The nice thing about our outlakes is that they are all accessible from camp by boat, and we do not charge extra for fishing on the outlakes.

Rivers: We have 8 rivers the bring water into Marchington Lake, one outlet on the system. This is a great reason for great walleye and northern fishing

Boat Rentals / Paddle Boats: We have paddle boats available for use, keep the kids busy on a hot afternoon, great fun from the shore.

Housekeeping Cabins: When on your fishing vacation at either Ghost River Lodge or Sturgeon River camp our housekeeping plan includes: Cabin rental, boat, motor, 5 gal. gas per day and portage in and out from car to camp.

American Plan: For your Ontario fishing trip, at Ghost River Lodge on Marchington Lake our modified american plan Includes: Cottage rental, boat, motor, 5 gal. gas per day, evening meal and portage in and out from car to camp.

Boat In Access: Why Fly in? Come experience a truly unique Canadian Fishing Adventure! The affordable alternative is to boat in. Load up and boat the first section to our portage, then experience our unique portage system before boating on to our remote lodges.

Cabin Rentals: For your canadian fishing vacation our cabin rentals at Ghost River Lodge and Sturgeon River Camp each cabin is well equipped for cooking, featuring a propane stove, utensils, pots & pans, and refrigeration.

Outposts: If you are looking to get away from it all, and are looking for tranquility and privacy, we recommend our two outpost cabins and enjoy remote fishing. Both cabins are fully modernized and are only a short boat ride away from Ghost River Camp.

Family Vacations: An affordable Family vacation: During July & August with 2 paying adults, children 12 & under are free and children 13 - 16 are 50% off adult rate on Housekeeping plan. Come enjoy great fishing,swimming and the solitude of our remote location.

Cottage Rentals: Our cottage rentals at Ghost River Lodge and Sturgeon River Camp are fully modern with a view of Marchington Lake. Sit in our screened in gazebo and enjoy a northwestern ontario sunset.
