Hunting Trips: When planning your next canadian hunting trip, Kashabowie River Resort offers both bow & rifle Resident and Non-Resident Moose hunts.

Fishing Trip: Some of the finest fishing in Northwestern Ontario is found in the Shebandowan Lake area. Shebandowan produces an abundance of walleye, northern pike, and smallmouth bass fishing. Portages for lake trout and brook trout are also available.

Bass / Smallmouth Bass: For canadian smallmouth bass fishing trip in the Thunder Bay area, Shebandowan Lake offers excellent bass fishing at the falls right in front of our lodge.

Northern Pike: Northern Pike fishing in Northwestern Ontario produces large numbers and trophy northern pike are common. Shebandowan Lake or one of our portage lakes such as Green Water or Loch Erne is no exception.

Trout / Lake Trout: If you are looking for Lake Trout fishing then Greewater Lake or Locherne is the place to fish. Unfortunately, Lake Trout are currently protected on Shebandowan Lake.

Walleye: For a canadian fishing trip, some of the finest walleye fishing is found in the Shebandowan lake area. The falls in front of Kashabowie River Resort produces exciting catches of Walleye.

Trout / Brook Trout: Loch Muich and Teardrop are two of Kashabowie River Resort's portage lakes, with easy access from Shebandowan lake offers excellent Brook Trout fishing.

Moose: Kashabowie River Resort on Shebandowan Lake of Northwestern Ontario offers Resident and Non-resident Moose Hunting packages in Areas 11b and 13. Our canadian moose hunts include your accommodations and adult tag.

Boat Rentals / Fishing Boats: Kashabowie River Resort has fishing boat rentals, we have 14' boats or 14' deep boats with 9.9 or 20 horse motors.

Boat Gas: Our resort on Shebandowan Lake has boat gas for those of you who wish to bring your own boats and motors for you fishing trip with us.

Boat Launches: Kashabowie River Resort has a well maintained boat launch for registered guests use if you prefer to bring your own fishing boat.

Housekeeping Cabins: When looking for accomodations for your canadian vacation, at Kashabowie River Resort we offer fully modern housekeeping cabins with 2 & 3 bedrooms & decks over looking the lake or river for you to sit back and relax after a day of great fishing.

Cabin Rentals: Looking for accomodations for your next canadian vacation, our cabin rentals at Kashabowie River Resort are fully modern with full kitchen facilities. We have 2 and 3 bedroom cabins overlooking the lake or river view to accomodate your party.

Cottage Rentals: Planning a fishing or family vacation to Northwestern Ontario? Kashabowie River Resort's cottage rentals are fully modern cottages with full kitchen facilities, microwaves and propane barbecues on our decks that overlook the lake or the river.

Drive In Access: Kashabowie River Resort is a drive in resort in northwestern ontario, situated near Shabandowan on highway 11 just east of Thunder Bay, Ontario.

Family Vacations: Your family vacation this year in northwestern ontario is a must at Kashabowie River Resort. We have a gorgeous swimming area, public sauna, horseshoe pits and small play area.

Outposts: Our semi remote outpost cabin on Crayfish Lake offers a chance to get away from it all. The cabins will accomodate 2-8 people in rustic cabins. Enjoy the great fishing and solitude.
