Fishing Trip: From our seaplane base in Armstrong we offer a variety of fishing trips to 9 fly-in outpost camps on private lakes, 2 remote fly-in lodges or canoe trips in Wabakimi Park. Fish for walleye, northern pike, lake trout, brook trout and sturgeon.

Aircraft: Mattice Lake Outfitters operate float equipped deHavilland Beaver aircraft from our seaplane base in Armstrong, Canada to transport guests to our wilderness fly-in outpost camps on private lakes for fishing trips and family vacations.

Canoeing & Kayaking / Canoeing: Whether you be an ardent fisherman, nature photographer, wilderness traveller or whitewater enthusiast, we have a canoeing trip that will exceed your expectations. Experience the thrill of flying to your departure in one of our float planes.

Hunting Trips: Hunt the majestic moose. Stay at one of our fly-in outposts on a private lake or at one of our tent camps on lakes used for moose hunting trips only.

Camping / Wilderness Camping: Mattice Lake Outfitters will fly you and your wilderness camping equipment to one of an endless number of remote lakes in Northwestern Ontario to experience trophy walleye, northern pike, brook trout, lake trout and sturgeon fishing.

Northern Pike: Ontario fishing for northern pike is nothing short of spectacular from our remote fly-in lodges and outpost camps on private lakes. Trophy northern pike in access of 30 pounds are caught anually.

Walleye: If you're after walleye you will not be dissappointed fishing at one of Mattice Lake Outfitter's remote outpost camps on the Albany or Ogoki River System. Catching a fish on every cast is common in our unspoiled remote fly in lakes.

Trout / Brook Trout: Brook trout fishing (catch & release) is available in the Attwood River from our Guerin Lake outpost. Brook trout is also available in Petawa Creek which flows north from Auger Lake into the Albany River. The Opichuan River also offers great brookies

Trout / Lake Trout: When you spend your ontario fly in fishing trip with Mattice Lake Outfitters in the Armstrong area you will find excellent lake trout fishing in several of our outpost lakes.

Sturgeon: Fish for Sturgeon from our fly in outpost camp on the Ogoki Reservoir. This fabulous body of water produces huge catches of walleye and northern pike as well as monstrous sturgeon.

Moose: Treat yourself to a successful fly in canadian moose hunt! Our high success rates are attributed to healthy, plentiful herds. Hunt from our fully equipped outpost camps or from one of our tent camps near Armstrong, Ontario.

Routes / Canoeing Routes: When planning a canoeing route in Northwestern Ontario, you can chose to canoe on the Albany or Allanwater Rivers systems or go paddling on Kopka, Whitewater or Lookout Rivers. Or make your own canoe route through Wabakimi Provincial Park.

Boat Rentals / Fishing Boats: All camps are equipped with late model Lund fishing boat rentals, late model 9.9 horsepower Mercury motors (plus spares) and an unlimited supply of outboard motor gasoline.

Rivers: All of our fly in outposts are located on the famous Albany & Ogoki River Systems.

Boat Rentals / Canoes & Kayaks: For those selecting one of our trips or preferring to plan their own, we maintain a livery of 17 foot aluminum (Grumman & Alumicraft) and Royalex (Old Town) rental canoes.

Routes / Canoeing Routes / Whitewater: The Kopka River trip offers more river travel than the previous trips and a fair amount of whitewater, much of which is runable or if you prefer can be portaged. This trip is in the Kopka River Waterway Park offering great fishing and scenery.

Outposts: Enjoy one of our 11 remote fly-in outpost camps on 11 different lakes situated on the famous Ogoki-Albany river systems, their tributaries & headwaters. The lakes range in size from 2000-35,000 acres, offering spectacular walleye & northern fishing.

Cabin Rentals: Fly in cabins rentals on remote private outpost lakes, fully equipped with electric or propane refrigerators, ranges, electric or solar lights, wood stoves for heat, all cooking & eating utensils for your fishing trip to Canada.

Cottage Rentals: We offer cottage rentals on a remote fly in lakes in Ontario, Canada. Deluxe cabins on 11 different wilderness lakes for fishing, family vacations, wildlife viewing or just relaxing on the many sand beaches. Your private cabin on a private lake!

Air Services: Experience the thrill of our air service flying to your destination in one of our float-equipped aircraft. You will fly over miles of paradise; a panorama of virgin forest broken only by thousands of lakes & rivers. Fish, canoe, vacation or hunt!

Outfitters / Canoe & Kayak Outfitters: We are canoe & kayak outfitters so let us outfit your next canoe trip. Choose from recommended trips such as Burntrock Lake,Allanwater,Albany,Kopka or Lookout Rivers or in Wabakimi Park. Let our air service drop you off in the wilderness.

Parks / Provincial: Heading to Wabakimi Wilderness Provincial Park, Kopka Waterway Park or The Albany River Waterway park? We offer canoe outfitting & transportation to any of these parks as well as outpost camps in Wabakimi. Fly-in to a remote wilderness setting.

Air Services / Charters: Our charters transport you, your canoes & camping gear to & from. We use our 3 float equipped DeHavilland Beaver aircraft. When transporting canoes, we carry one canoe strapped to the side of each aircraft & in most cases no more than 2 passengers.

Canoe Outfitters: Mattice Lake Outfitters has a fly in outpost operation as well as we are a canoe outfitter in the Wabakimi Wilderness Park area.

Housekeeping Cabins: Our 9 remote outpost camps and 2 remote wilderness lodges all offer deluxe housekeeping cabins. All cabins are well equipped with hot 7 cold running water, 2 way radios, all appliances, hand crafted pine furnishings, large decks & gas barbeques.

Licenses / Fishing and Hunting: We handle fishing and hunting licences. For your ontario hunting trip, be sure to bring proof of past hunting experience in the form of a hunting licence from any State regardless of year.
