North Star Village Resort

North Star Village is a housekeeping resort with great fishing and accommodations in Minaki,Ontario. It is located on the Winnipeg River System including Big Sand, Little Sand, Rough Rock, Pistol, Gun, Sword, Vermilion and Worth Lakes. Fish for walleye, smallmouth bass, muskie (musky), northern pike and lake trout.

Owned and operated by a local pioneer family, and currently run by Marcie McNally and Mike Pinheiro. During the initial 2 decades of its operation, North Star Village was known as Beaver House Lodge. However, changes in the infastructure designed to offer guests as complete a line of services as could be found in any one fishing community suggested a small village type atmosphere.

The name change was inspired by the North Star, visible across the river from the camp on a clear summers evening. North Star Village offers its guests a comprehensive line of retail services on site that includes marine gas, bait and tackle, ice, snacks and other normal camp requirements.
