Swampers Guide Service and Outposts

Fishing Trip: We offer excellent Ontario fishing trips for muskie, walleye, bass and northern pike. We even offer our guests the opportunity to fly in to a remote lake for a truly spectacular fishing experience.

Hunting Trips: Swampers Guide Service can give you the opportunity to bag a trophy white tail deer. Fall hunting trips for black bear and winter hunts for timberwolves are also available.

Walleye: Northwestern Ontario offers the angler excellent walleye fishing and our locations are no exception. Fish for Canadian walleye at our Kawawai Lake outpost or fish Lake of the Woods or the Winnipeg River from our main lodge.

Bass / Smallmouth Bass: Kishkutena Lake is known for its fast smallmouth bass fishing. Catching 50+ bass/day is not uncommon, ranging from 1-3 lbs & several 4, 5, 6-pounders also are caught. From our lodge you can fish smallmouth on the Winnipeg River or Lake of the Woods.

Muskie: Musky fishing available per day or full American Plan. House/Cabins available on Lake of the Woods & Winnipeg River. Also Fly in Outpost - 40 Musky caught in 3 days and a 7 pound smallmouth. Guided muskie fishing trips available.

Northern Pike: Northern pike are a voracious predator that grow to large sizes in our waters. Pike fishing is superb throughout the year. Fish for northerns at the Kawawai Lake outpost camp or at our main American Plan lodge where we fish the Winnipeg River.

Trout / Lake Trout: Combine your fall hunt for whitetail deer with some awesome lake trout fishing. Winter lake trout fishing is also available for those that want some fresh fish in the middle of winter.

Deer: Whitetail deer hunting is our specialty at Swamp Creek Lodge & Outpost Camps. Come up to Northwestern Ontario for the opportunity at a trophy buck. References from previous hunters available.

Wolf: Winter is the time to hunt timberwolves which can be combined with ice fishing (heated huts) and excellent snowmobiling.

Boat Cache: We have a number of boat chaches available for our guests.

Boat Rentals / Fishing Boats: We can rent you a well-equipped fishing boat if need be.

Outposts: We have two Canadian outpost camps. One is a fly-in outpost on Kishkutena Lake and the other is a boat-in or fly-in outpost fishing camp on Kawawai Lake off Highway 502. Fish for walleye, pike or trout.

Fly In Access: We offer our guests a fly in fishing trip like no other. Fly in to our Kishkutena Lake outpost camp or fly into our outpost on Kawawai Lake in between Fort Frances and Dryden, Ontario, Canada.

Housekeeping Cabins: We offer clean, comfortable remote housekeeping cabins for our guests. Fly into a housekeeping cabin on Kishkutena Lake or boat/fly/ATV into our outpost cabin on Kawawai Lake. The Kishkutena outpost is open in the winter for ice fishing or sledding.

Cabin Rentals: Our Ontario cabin rentals are on Kishkutena & Kawawai lakes. We offer an American Plan package for up to 8 people at our lodge where you can fish the Winnipeg River or Lake of the Woods. Combined packages of outpost cabin rentals & main lodge avail.

American Plan: Full American plan packages are available, call us for more details. Our main lodge north of Kenora, Ontario sleeps 8 and offers American Plan only. Canada fishing or hunting trips.

Amenities / Open Winter: We are an open winter resort in the Kenora, Ontario area. Come up for a timberwolf hunt, ice fishing or a snowmobile adventure.

Cottage Rentals: Our Kishkutena cottage rental accommodates 6 persons. It was completely remodeled in 1997 and offers a large sitting room/kitchen with a great lake view. It has knotty pine interior, 3 bedrooms, full kitchen, hot & cold water, shower, deck, and more.

Guides / Hunting: Our experienced hunting guides at Swamper's Guide Service can help ensure a greater chance at success for our guests. We offer Ontario whiteail hunts, as well as hunting for bear and timberwolf.

Drive In Access: We are located just north of Kenora, Ontario with easy, drive-in access. In addition to our drive-in lodge, we have 2 remote Canadian outpost camps.
