Fishing Trip: Explore three very different types of water on your fishing trip Thaddeus,Ord & Moose Lakes-all accessible from camp without portaging. Walleye, Northern Pike, Silver Pike, Smallmouth Bass, Perch & Muskie all inhabit the nearly 15,000 acres of water.

Hunting Trips: Thaddeus Lake Lodge offers over 350 square miles of prime land dedicated to hunting Black Bear and Moose for your canadian hunting trip.

Secluded Settings / Remote: We are located in a remote secluded setting, for you vacation enjoy our wilderness camp. After leaving Dryden, Ontario the final 25 miles into camp is a gravel road where a truck, van or SUV is ideal. However, camp is accessible by all vehicles.

Swimming: The white sand beach with gently sloping shore is a wonderful place for sunbathing or swimming.

Walleye: Fish at our resort in the Dryden area were the clear, deep (50 foot) waters of Thaddeus Lake produce trophy walleye, as well as the eaters. Numerous Walleyes over 29" are caught each year.

Bass / Smallmouth Bass: While on your canadian fishing vacation catch fiesty smallmouth bass over 16" in the clear deep waters of Thaddeus Lake.

Northern Pike: Explore our chain of lakes including Thaddeus, Ord and Moose Lakes - you'll catch many Northern Pike over 36" or try fishing for a Silver Pike (a unique silver fish with baby blue fins, found only in a handful of lakes in North America.

Muskie: On your fishing trip in the Dryden, Ontario area of northwestern Ontario, fish Thaddeus Lake to catch the elusive muskie. Muskie over 40" are caught each year.

Perch: Moose Lake is a great "action" lake. Perch, Northern and Walleye are known to keep anglers busy all day. The lake is clear and shallow; its deepest point is approximately 20 feet.

Berry Picking: When on vacation with us in Canada try your hand at berry picking. In August, Blueberry and Raspberry picking is an unique and tasty experience for young and old alike

Black Bear: Our BLACK BEAR HUNT PACKAGE (Bow or Muzzleloader) includes: Housekeeping Cabin complete with beds, fridge, stove and all cooking utensils, boat, motor outboard fuel, 7-day conservation fishing license and bear hunting license.

Moose: MOOSE HUNT PACKAGE (Bow Hunting) includes: Housekeeping cabin, boat,motor, conservation fishing license, 3 days guiding, detailed topographical maps, calling instructions & hunting techniques, assistance in tracking & transporting moose back to camp

Primitive Weapons Hunting: If you prefer primitive weapons hunting, we offer Bow and Muzzleloader Bear Hunts and Bow hunting for Moose.

Boat Rentals / Fishing Boats: Our deluxe 16' fishing boat rentals come complete with live well, dry storage, flat floors, pedestal swivel seats & low range locators. Our boats are powered by dependable and quiet 25 hp. electric start, 4-stroke Yamaha motors.

Boat Launches: If you prefer to bring your own boat, our concrete boat ramp and wooden docks make our boat launch and docking very convenient.

Housekeeping Cabins: Each housekeeping cabin has a beautiful view of the lake, hot & cold water, twin beds, private three-piece bathroom & full kitchen. The kitchens are equipped with refrigerators, propane stoves & charcoal grills, as well as the cooking essentials.

Cabin Rentals: Enjoy your nights in our rustic cabin rentals, poised on the edge of a white sand beach, perfect for swimming and relaxation. Our equipment, hospitality, and great fishing/hunting will make your stay with us and enjoyable and memorable one.

Cottage Rentals: At Thaddeus Lake Lodge our cottage rentals are nestled among the trees or along the white sand beach, nine housekeeping cottages with covered decks provide the perfect setting to relax when you are not on the water fishing.

Family Vacations: A family vacation on our chain of lakes will provide enough fishing action to get the whole family hooked. Northern & perch are always great for the kids. Don't forget the Canadian sunsets. In August, blueberry picking is a unique & tasty experience.

Drive In Access: Drive in to Thaddeus Lake Lodge. We are located 40 miles north of Dryden on an extension of Highway 601.

Licenses / Fishing and Hunting: You can get your fishing and hunting licences at our lodge as well as a conservation fishing license is included in both our economy and deluxe fishing packages.

Guides / Fishing: Book a fishing guide for an 8 hour day or for 4 hours only. You won't be dissappointed.

Guides / Hunting: Our experienced bear and moose hunting guides provide the necessary insight for a successful hunt in WMU 5. Archery and black powder hunting for bear and Archery only for moose are our specialties.

Amenities / On-site Bait & Tackle: At our on-site bait & tackle, on site-gift shop, our office hours are 7 am to 7 pm. Souvenirs, licenses, bait, ice and a small assortment of tackle are all available in the camp office.
