Fishing Trip: There are many options and angles for a full week of fun on your fishing trip. Try our lake for some of the greatest smallmouth bass fishing you have ever had or travel to the many lakes that surround us for walleyes, brook & lake trout, pike & bass.

Hunting Trips: Our canadian hunting trips located near Ignace, Ontario in the fall for a bear or moose hunt at Young Lake Lodge are an exciting adventure, with a very high success rate.

Winter Activities / Snowmobiling: Snowmobiling along our winter trail system in the Ignace, Ontario area lets you enjoy the beauty of Northwestern Ontario in the winter.

Camping: Camping at Young Lake Lodge is fun for a fishing trip or a family vacation to Northwestern Ontario. We have RV parking & tenting at our campground.

Secluded Settings / Remote: We are a drive in camp yet we are in a remote secluded setting along the 599 Wilderness Corridor of Northwestern Ontario on Young Lake.

Canoeing & Kayaking / Canoeing: Canoeing is another activity for your enjoyment when your spend your vacation with us at Young Lake Lodge. Enjoy paddling around the lake and enjoy the wildlife our area has to offer.

Trails / ATV Trails: We have some challenging ATV trails for ATV enthusiasts. Whether you just enjoy quading or you want to access our many logging road for fall grouse hunting we can offer both from our lodge in the Ignace, Ontario area.

Swimming / Sand Beach: While on your family vacation to Ontario, for the kids we have a beautiful sand beach for your swimming enjoyment at our lodge on Young Lake.

Trails / Mountain Bike Trails: If you like cycling we have mountain bike trails in the Ignace area.

Northern Pike: For some of the greatest fishing thrills you can experience, hook into a large northern pike lurking in Young Lake. If you like a change of pace try fishing one of our access lakes such as Whiterock or Elva Lakes for excellent Canadian fishing.

Walleye: While on your Northwestern Ontario fishing vacation travel to the many lakes that surround us such as Flying Loon, Whiterock, or Elva for walleyes, lake trout, northern pike, perch or whitefish. Your level of fishing adventure is up to you.

Bass / Smallmouth Bass: There are many options and angles for a full week of fishing fun while on your canadian fishing vacation in Northwestern Ontario. You can fish on Young Lake for some of the greatest smallmouth bass fishing and northern pike fishing you have ever had.

Trout / Lake Trout: If you are a trout fisherman, Young Lake Lodge in the Ignace area can offer you both lake trout and brook trout fishing.

Conservation Fishing: We practice catch and release fishing on Young, Elva & Whiterock lakes. Practicing conservation fishing on these lakes, ensures the quality and quantity of these lakes will continue to have excellent fishing for years to come.

Ice Fishing: Winter offers great ice fishing opportunities, so plan a winter vacation to Young Lake Lodge and snowmobile to your favorite fishing hole.

Perch: Perch are a great pan fish and make a great fish for a Canadian shore lunch.

Whitefish: Whitefish are not common but are caught in lakes in Ontario.

Moose: A Canadian hunting trip to our lodge in the Ignace area of Northwestern Ontario gives you access to miles of untouched wilderness with a proven track record of successful moose hunts.

Black Bear: For a Canadian Black Bear hunt there's nothing more exciting than a challenging bear hunt in the forests of Young Lake Lodge in Ignace, Ontario. Fall is black bear season - come & enjoy the crisp autumn air and try your luck at bagging a large bear.

Boat Launches: At our resort on Young Lake for those bringing their own fishing boats we have a well-maintained boat launch available.

Waterskiing: Enjoy waterskiing on Young Lake while on your family vacation with us.

Boat Rentals / Fishing Boats: At Young Lake Lodge in the Ignace area we have quality fishing boat rentals and motors available for rent.

Boat Rentals / Paddle Boats: Our resort on Young Lake has paddle boats for you to use while on your family vacation to Canada.

Boat Gas: At our lodge on Young Lake, whether you use our fishing boats or bring your own boat we can supply you all the boat gas you need for your boat.

Housekeeping Cabins: Young Lake Lodge in the Ignace, Ontario area offers fully modern and equipped houskeeping cabins for preparing your own meals so that you can enjoy your canadian fishing vacation on your own time - and not have to follow any schedules.

Cabin Rentals: Our cabin rentals in Ontario's Sunset Country are fully equipped for light housekeeping while on your family vacation, they are located at the edge of the forest, and with a beautiful view of Young Lake.

Cottage Rentals: Cottage rentals at Young Lake Lodge are clean and comfortable for your family or fishing vacation to Ontario, whether fishing or swimming at our sand beach, a hike on a nature trails or just relaxing we look after all your needs.

Guides / Fishing: At Young Lake Lodge we offer our guests the option of fishing guide service if they choose. Contact us for more information and rates.

Drive In Access: We are a secluded drive-in facility located north of Ignace, Ontario off of Highway 599. From Thunder Bay Take hwy 17 west or from Fort Frances use hwy's 11, 502 & 17 to reach our lodge.

Campgrounds: If you enjoy the thrill of tent camping, we also have a campground that can accomodate you for your fishing vacation with us on Young Lake near Ignace,Ontario.

Amenities / On-site Bait & Tackle: If you forgot your favorite lure or just want a few new spinners or jigs our on-site bait & tackle shop has both live bait and lures for your convenience.

Campgrounds / RV Parks: Young Lake Lodge wants everyone to have a great Canadian vacation. If your vacation plans include your RV then our RV Park Campground has hookups for your rig.
