he common loon is a frequent site on lakes in NW Ontario. This photo of a dancing loon was captured by Mary Trowbridge from Nebraska, while fishing on Perrault Lake. A favorite of many bird lovers, the loon is not shy of fishermen on the lakes, but raise quite a commotion if you venture too close to a nest.
