Small beaches like this one are excellent places to land a houseboat and stay for a day or two before pushing on to explore the rest of Lake of the Woods. This beach is located in the bay immediately south of the entrance to Cross-Inlet in Whitefish Bay. On high-water years beaches like these can disappear but they're always great to stop in at for a swim almost anytime in the summer.
