Walleye: Walleyes are found on numerous lakes surrounding Atikwa Lake. Best walleye fishing is in portage lakes - June to Mid August.

Muskie: Muskie Lake offers Atikwa guests a chance to hook the elusive muskie. This portage lake is the site of the "first ever" muskie for several of our guests each season.

Northern Pike: Looking for that fish of a lifetime… a trophy northern pike? Big pike prowl our remote waters. Pike up to 48" (28-30 lb.) have been caught and released in the last five years. No doubt there are some 50" water wolves lurking in Atikwa.

Trout / Lake Trout: Our lake trout fishing is "simply fantastic" --- Atikwa is one of the best, if not the best, lake trout lake fishery in all of Ontario. Our guests say that "lake trout fishing on Atikwa is like walleye fishing on other lakes…simply fantastic.

Boat Rentals / Fishing Boats: At Atikwa Lake Lodge we pride ourselves in offering our guests first-rate fishing equipment. We feature 16 foot boats with 25 HP Honda motors for a smooth, quiet fishing experience.

Fly In Access: Flying from our Nestor Falls, Ontario departure base is an enjoyable experience and you will be amazed by the scenic beauty of our island location smack in the middle of breathtaking Atikwa Lake. Fly-in vacations are always a trip to remember.

Cabin Rentals: Enjoy your wilderness cabin along the shores of beautiful Atikwa Lake. Our modern ligh housekeeping cabin rentals are furnished with single beds, 3-piece bath, kitchens, propane grill, linens and more.

Cottage Rentals: Rent a cottage for your fishing or family vacation and see the difference a fly in location makes. Our cottage rentals are fully equipped and all have a deck.

American Plan: At Atikwa Lake Lodge our American Plan Package includes delicious homecooked meals served in the main lodge dining area. Dinners are topped off with fresh daily baking

Housekeeping Cabins: ATIKWA LAKE LODGE offers 4 or 7 day Housekeeping or delicious American Plan packages tailored to meet your Canadian fishing vacation needs. Our modern light-housekeeping cabins are completely furnished and will comfortably sleep from two to ten.

Guides / Fishing: Our waters are easy to fish, but guests fishing Atikwa Lake for the first time should consider using a guide for at least one day. Guides will help you become familiar with the lake, provide expertise in fishing our famous lake trout & trophy pike.

American Plan Fly In Lodges: Fly in to our American Plan lodge and enjoy excellent fishing and the beautiful wilderness of Northwest Ontario's Sunset Country.

Family Vacations: Our very special Family Rate for your family vacation is designed to provide Mom, Dad, plus one or two youth (age 17 & under) with an affordable Canadian fly-in fishing vacation.

Air Services / Day Trips: Another option includes daily fly-outs from our main dock to remote wilderness lakes for walleye, bass and northern pike action. You will fly out in the morning and be returned to our dock in late afternoon in time for dinner.

Maps / Outfitter Supplied: We have maps of Atikwa Lake at the lodge.
