Canoeing & Kayaking: Experience the ultimate canadian wilderness adventure with Canoe Canada Outfitters and come canoeing & kayaking with us in Quetico Provinical Park or the White Otter Wilderness area.
Canoeing & Kayaking / Canoeing: For a true canadian wilderness canoeing experience Quetico Park provides you with all the ingredients.
Ecotourism: An Ecotourism vacation to Quetico Park covers 4,800 square km.of untouched wilderness in Northern Ontario's Pre-Cambrian shield rock forest. The primitive area of lakes, sand beaches & towering pine forests has no peer on the North American continent
Camping / Wilderness Camping: Quetico's wilderness camping means isolation and limited travel permits help to protect and preserve this wild landscape. Enjoy the freedom of exploring 4800 square kilometres of 'drinking water pure lakes' in the Arctic Watershed.
Secluded Settings: While natives of the Lac La Croix Indian band are allowed restricted motor use on some perimeter lakes, visitors to Quetico Park may not use outboard motors and remote interior areas must be explored by canoe - a completely secluded setting.
Fishing Trip: World Class Sport fishing trip for Smallmouth Bass, Lake Trout, Walleye and huge Northern Pike. Hundreds of remote wilderness lakes mean no fishing pressure in "Quetico Park". We also have 15 fly-in outposts to choose from.
Hunting Trips: We have many fly in outpost lakes where you could plan your moose, deer or bear hunting trip to the Atikokan area of Northwestern Ontario.
Expeditions/Treks / Backcountry: This is not only a quality backcountry camping adventure, it's an international experience! If you're just canoeing for the weekend, enjoy B.W.C.A.; but if you're looking for a longer adventure, drive the extra 2 & 1/2 hours for something unusual.
Expeditions/Treks: Wilderness canoe expedition trek packages include: maps, Tents, Kevlar Canoes, Paddles, Sleeping Bags, Crazy Creek Chairs, Food, Packs, Stoves, Fuel, Stunff Sacks, Thermarest Sleeping Pads (full length), Rope, PFD's, Satellite Phone and Cookkit.
Canoeing & Kayaking / Kayaking: Enjoy sea kayaking in the White Otter wilderness area. Guided and unguided trips available.
Tours / Nature: From Tip Top Lodge we offer a three hour nature tour to White Otter Castle which includes stops in several locations to see the Native Pictographs and writings on rock walls and ledges of White Otter Lake, PLUS tour the White Otter Castle.
Angling
Walleye: Canadian walleye fishing in northwestern ontario begins the 3rd saturday of May each year, you may keep & have in your possession 4 fish: (only 2 on a conservation licence) of which only one fish may be longer than 18 inches.
Northern Pike: When fishing in the Quetico Provincial Park near Atikokan, Ontario the month of July is the best time for trophy northern pike when the weed beds are fully developed, and the water has warmed. Use topwater plugs and skirted spinner baits.
Bass / Smallmouth Bass: This is the 'royal family' of Quetico Provincial Park sportfishing and the 'king' starts things off with a bang in the canoe country! During sunny days in May, big smallmouth bass are pre-spawn and very protective of the spawing areas.
Trout / Lake Trout: When looking for a canadian lake trout fishing trip, this is the most ignored species of fish in Quetico Park, & my favorite. Few anglers try for them, meaning the population of huge lake trout is unmatched anywhere & a trophy is a good possiblity.
Nature and Adventures
Wildlife Viewing: Quetico Provincial Park has no peer on the North American continent for the adventurer seeking solitude, superb sport fishing, and the opportunity for rare wildlife viewing in its native habitat.
