 From local crafts displays to antique car parades, there's always a special event happening in Sunset Country. Each community in our region has something unique and different to offer. Sports play a big part of the local lifestyle and many tournaments are staged throughout the year. Some of the summer highlights include the Trout Forest Music Festival in Ear Falls, the Norseman Festival in Red Lake, Harbourfest in Kenora and Moosefest in Dryden. Canada Day is the cause for celebration in every town and city in Northwestern Ontario. Local celebrations often include kid's fairs, musical entertainment and fireworks displays. Contact a local Community Organzation for specific event info.
