Catch and release fishing in Canada Sunset Country promotes CPR - Catch, Photograph and Release. Conservation fishing has increased over the past 10 years, and as a result the fishing has never been better. When you put a trophy fish,back you ensure that they'll be there to catch again next year. Taxidermists are now able to reproduce a trophy fish from a photograph - you won't be able to tell the difference!

The Ministry of Natural Resources has been working closely with the fishing lodges, resorts and outfitters to ensure the Ontario's angling remains the best in North America. 2007 will see some major changes in the Ontario fishing regulations. These include dropping the number of fisheries zones down to 20 from 35 and doing away with some lake specific regulations.
