Winter Activities / Snowmobiling: With miles of trails on Lake of the Woods and off, there is no place better for snowmobling than the Sioux Narrows area of Northwestern Ontario.

Hunting Trips: At our resort we have black bear, moose, deer, duck & partridge hunting trips. We are located in the Sioux Narrows area.

Fishing Trip: Located on famous Lake of the Woods, we have many different species of fish - walleye, northern pike, smallmouth bass, muskie and lake trout, to name a few. A memorable fishing trip is guaranteed.

Canoeing & Kayaking / Canoeing: We have canoes for rent for your canoeing enjoyment. Enjoy the beauty of Lake of the Woods while paddling around the lake.

Trails / Snowmobile Trails: For snowmobling, at Crawfords Camp in the Sioux Narrows area we have snowmobile trails that go right past the lodge. If you are ice fishing or just joy riding we have accomodations for you.

Playgrounds: At Crawford's Camp for your family vacation we have a new playground set up with swings, slide, playhouse, and lots of sand for the younger kids.  This joins the beach on the west side of the point.  

Swimming / Sand Beach: The sand beach is primarily for the smaller kids, but at times we all use it for relaxing on a hot summer day, cool off swimming in famous Lake of the Woods.

Walleye: Walleye season opens on the 3rd Sat. in May. During the summer the walleye move from one area to another on Lake of the Woods, but by utilizing knowledge of their habits learned over the years, we are able to stay on top of them for good fishing.

Northern Pike: When you come to Crawford's Camp in Sioux Narrows, Ontario for your canadian fishing vacation you will find plenty of northern pike in Lake of the Woods. They range in size from the smaller ones to the opportunity to land a trophy northern pike.

Bass / Smallmouth Bass: As the bays warm up on Lake of the Woods you'll find the largemouth & smallmouth bass moving in & hanging around last year's weeds.  By the first of June, fishing for bass they are hitting heavy & we are seeing many largemouth in the 8 lb + range. 

Muskie: Muskie fishing season opens the 3rd Sat. in June, just at the end of their yearly spawning. Usually the Musky are still up shallow on Lake of the Woods at that time and it can be great for light tackle! The lake is also known for its trophy muskie.

Trout / Lake Trout: Towards the end of April we usually have"ice out"on Lake of the Woods & it's time for some shallow water lake trout fishing. The big ones are up & it's time for casting & trolling.  We have housekeeping cabins open to accommodate trout fishermen.

Ice Fishing: Plan your next ice fishing excursion to Lake of the Woods and enjoy some great walleye or crappie fishing, leave from our resort on your snowmobile for a day of great fishing.

Crappie: Lake of the Woods is well known for it's crappie fishing both summer or winter. A great ice fishing trip in April or a summer fishing vacation which ever you prefer as we are open with accomodations to suit either season.

Black Bear: Canadian Black Bear season opens on August 15 by this time our resort has been baiting for a few weeks. We only hunt until the end of September. Located in the Sioux Narrows area we lease approximately 80,000 acres for the use of our Bear Hunters.

Moose: The only Non-resident moose hunting in the area is in the Provincial Primitive Weapons area on the Aulneau Peninsula of Lake of the Woods. We operate two Tent Camps for our hunters. These hunts can be either black powder, muzzle loader or archery.

Deer: Deer season opens the Saturday closest to the 8th of Oct. Our resort in Sioux Narrows can offer you some excellent Guided Deer hunts out on Islands that can get you some very nice racks. This hunting package can also include fishing and Duck hunting

Birds / Duck: The season on Ducks, Geese & Partridge opens on Sept 15, and Lake of the Woods is an excellent choice for duck hunting mallards and other species as it is on their main flight path for head south for the winter.

Wolf: Timber Wolf season in northwestern ontario starts on Jan 1 and ends on Dec 31. The limit is one "per day 365 days a year"! It requires a Small Game License and can be exported to the U.S..

Primitive Weapons Hunting: You can moose hunt on the Aulneau Penninsula - either Black powder, muzzle loader, or Archery (Bow or Crossbow). One of our 2 bear hunt acreages is a Primitive Weapons Hunting area, designated so by the Gov't & it is for Muzzle Loader & Archery only.

Birds / Grouse: When you come to the Lake of the Woods area for you grouse hunting trip combine it with a fall fishing trip and have the best of both worlds.

Boat Rentals / Fishing Boats: We attempt to keep a variety of fishing boats rentals available for our guests and update as often as possible.  We have 18' Deep V bass boats with 50 hp 4-stroke motors and 16' aluminum lund fishing boats with 20 and 25 hp Yamaha outboard motors.

Waterskiing: For variety we have paddle boats, and canoes available at camp. We also have waterski and knee board equipment to go waterskiing or kneeboarding on Lake of the Woods.

Housekeeping Cabins: All of our housekeeping cabins are fully modern & located on the Lake of the Woods lakeshore except one. They have kitchens equipped with electric or propane stoves with ovens, dishes, coffee makers, toasters, eating & cooking utensils & bedding.

Cabin Rentals: Crawford's Camp offers cabin rentals on Lake of the Woods for your canadian fishing or family vacation. The majority of our housekeeping cabins are near & overlook the lake where you can relax & see beautiful sunset or listen to the call of the loons

Cottage Rentals: Our Lake of the Woods cottage rentals are right near all the conveniences of the Town of Sioux Narrows, giving you the perfect choice for you vacation, great fishing for those who want or shopping and activities for those who just want to relax.

Family Vacations: With a playground, sand beach for swimming, canoes, paddle boat, fishing and shopping nearby, Crawford's Camp makes for a great family vacation.

Guides / Fishing: Our guide boats are 19' with complete convertible tops, bow casting platform, comfortable swivel seats, graphs, all safety gear, power by a 150 hp motor with 9.9 for a rear trolling motor & a bow electric motor. And of course a fishing guide.

Amenities / Open Winter: We do keep some cottages open for winter ice fishing on Lake of the Woods and for a few guests that just like the total peace and quiet of the northern winter!

Drive In Access: Drive in to our camp in Sioux Narrows. Crawford's Camp is conveniently located two hours north of both Baudette and Fort Frances.

Air Services / Day Trips: We can also arrange for a day or overnight, fly-in trip to one of the lakes a little further in.  We have gear available for an overnight trip which can guided or unguided.

Campgrounds / RV Parks: At our resort our campground and RV park has 4 RV trailer sites with water, electricity and sewer. The RV sites are adjacent to our lodge on Lake of the Woods.

Amenities / On-site Bait & Tackle: Crawford's Camp has an on-site bait & tackle shop where live bait is available and we have managed to keep our prices well below our competitors.  While they are in season we keep a supply of night crawlers and leeches on hand. 

Amenities / Handicapped: Two of our cottages on Lake of the Woods have wheelchair access and are handicapped accessible.

Amenities / Pets Allowed: Our resort is a pets allowed facility so that your whole family can enjoy it's family vacation with us.

Licenses / Fishing and Hunting: At the lodge in Sioux Narrows, Ontario you will find both fishing and hunting licenses, tackle, ice, pop, candy, chips, post cards, T-shirts, caps, sandwiches various ice creams, maps and more.

Guides / Hunting: We can provide you with some excellent hunting guides for your guided Deer hunts in the Sioux Narrows area out on the Islands of Lake of the Woods that can get you with some very nice racks. This can also include fishing and Duck hunting.

Maps / Outfitter Supplied: We sell the latest hydrographic charts & topographical map of Lake of the Woods and of course, as much fishing information as we can give you!

Amenities / Satellite TV: To keep up with the news at home while on your vacation with us in Sioux Narrows we have Satellite TV in the lodge and some of our cottage rentals.
