Fishing Trip: For your Ontario fishing trip, Goose Bay Camp is located on the north end of Lac Seul four miles south of Ear Falls. Lac Seul is 110 miles long (over 180 km) and is Northwestern Ontario's premier drive-to walleye and northern pike fishery.

Hunting Trips: Goose Bay Camp is situated in the heart of the finest moose, bear and bird hunting in Ontario; your hunting trip begins just outside the camp.

Camping: If you are looking for camping on Lac Seul, full trailer hook-ups and tent sites are available at our resort.

Playgrounds: We offer a playground for your children to enjoy while you are on your family vacation in Ear Falls, Ontario on Lac Seul.

Swimming / Sand Beach: Lac Seul has numerous white sand beaches, deserted and pristine, great for swimming on those hot summer days.There is also a public beach in Ear Falls and a number of other beaches in the area including public parks.

Walleye: For your fishing trip to ontario you will find the walleye fishing on Lac Seul is unequaled by any drive in lake in both quality and quantity. Trophy walleye are caught & release yearly and your prime eaters are plentiful for a great shore lunch.

Whitefish: Whitefish are not a common fish that most of us go fishing for but they are available on Lac Seul and when fillet taste much like a walleye.

Sauger : On your Lac Seul fishing trip you may run across a sauger which is from the same family as the walleye and is often mistaken for one.

Perch: Lac Seul is an excellent panfish lake with many nice sized yellow perch, which make for some really good eating either back at your cabin rental or for a shore lunch.

Wildlife Viewing: There is plenty of wildlife viewing in our area of Northwestern Ontario, moose, bear, deer, red fox and often seen while traveling the highway to our resort on Lac Seul.

Berry Picking: If you enjoy berry picking then in July and August you will find there are abundant wild blueberries and raspberries. If you have only eaten cultivated blueberries wait until you get a taste of the wild berry.

Black Bear: For your canadian black bear hunting trip, we are on the second largest Bear Management Area in Northwestern Ontario, where our overall success averages 75%.

Moose: A canadian moose hunting trip to Goose Bay Camp in Ear Falls, Ontario is in moose allocation Wildlife Management Units #3, #4, & 5. Each year large bull moose are taken as well as cow and calf moose being plentiful in our area.

Birds / Grouse: This area of Ontario offers excellent hunting for ruffed grouse. The ruffed grouse, bear, and moose populations are high and this area has well developed forest access roads to facilitate your access to all three species of game.

Birds / Duck: Duck hunting requires a small game license, combine a fall fishing trip with a grouse, duck hunting trip for the perfect vacation to Ontario.

Boat Rentals / Fishing Boats: At Goose Bay Lodge we have a variety of fishing boat rentals, large Naden Lakers with 30 Yamaha Motors for Lac Seul & 16' aluminum boats on Nungessor Lake.

Boat Launches: Our resort has a boat launch and dockage for our guest that wish to bring their own boats for their fishing trip to Lac Seul.

Housekeeping Cabins: Our cottages rentals are fully modern & equipped housekeeping cabins that can accomodate smaller & larger groups depending on your group. Each cabin rental is located along the lakeshore of Lac Seul a perfect location for your fishing trip to Canada

Outposts: Our remote outpost cabins on the south shore of beautiful Nungesser Lake are perfectly located. Count on fantastic fishing for walleye and northern pike. Includes all towels bedding, dishes, propane stove and lights, wood heat and barbeque.

Cabin Rentals: Our cabin rentals are all located along the shore of Lac Seul, fully modern with all the amentities of home they can accomodate from either small parties to your larger groups. The perfect location for either a fishing trip or family vacation.

Cottage Rentals: Our cottage rentals are all fully modern & equipped with everything you will need while on your fishing trip to Lac Seul near Ear Falls, Ontario. The perfect location for a great canadian vacation for a family vacation with something for everyone.

American Plan: Goose Bay Lodge on Lac Seul has a new dining room to accommodate American Plan guests. Our housekeeping guests can arrange for single meals by letting us know at the beginning of the day that you will be in for evening dinner.

Campgrounds: We have a campground with fully-serviced campsites available on Lac Seul for your Ontario fishing trip or family vacation.

Boat In Access: Our boat-in outpost on Nungessor Lake consists of 3 completely equipped cabins, a fish house, & ice house with unlimited ice for your use. Motors and minnows packed in oxygen are picked up at the main camp; boats, gas, and ice are at the outpost.

Drive In Access: Drive in: From International Falls, Minnesota, cross the International Bridge to Fort Frances, Ontario and take Hwy. 11 E to 502 N to 594 E into Dryden, connect with Hwy. 17 W. Take Hwy. 17 W to Hwy 105. Next take 105 north for 60 miles.

Guides / Fishing: At Goose Bay Lodge on Lac Seul if you wish we can provide fishing guides for $110.00 per day for two people. Each additional person per day is $15.00.
