Hunting Trips: We offer hunting trips for moose and black bear as well as whitetail deer and wolf. To ensure a quality hunting expedition, all of our hunts are run in a safe, professional manner.

Winter Activities / Snowmobiling: One Man Lake Lodge was built to accommodate you in woodland comfort. Accessible only by snowmobile in the winter, you will find a serene setting of nature in its most untamed state, a great place for Ontario winter activities such as snowmobiling.

Secluded Settings / Remote: Is heading north to a remote secluded setting on a wilderness lake your idea of a little time spent in paradise? Halley's Camps and The Outpost Company can tailor your dream trip to suit your needs.

Muskie: For your canadian musky fishing trip, fly in one of our outpost cabins on a exclusive muskie lake - it's out of this world!

Walleye: We can offer our guests some of the best walleye fishing in the world! Try our resort on the English River System or one of our fly in outpost lakes. The best fishing lures for walleye are: 3/8 ounce jigs w/twister tails, crank bait, jig & a minnow.

Northern Pike: Northern pike over 40 inches in length are caught and released every year. The best lures to use on northerns are: spoons, bucktails, shad raps and trolling lures.

Bass / Smallmouth Bass: For a fishing trip to Ontario you will find many of our lakes as well as the English River System offer excellent smallmouth bass fishing. The best lures are spinners, top water lures and ounce jugs w/twister tails.

Trout / Lake Trout: The best fishing lures to use for lake trout are: ultralite lures, ultralite spoons and 3 way swivels.

Ice Fishing: Ice Fishing - Whether you’re a seasoned angler or just looking for an afternoon adventure, the fishing is excellent year ‘round in Halley Country.

Black Bear: We have two types of hunts available for a canadian black bear hunting trip. Hunters can choose from a stay at our drive in Housekeeping Camp at Caribou Falls Landing or enjoy a remote and secluded fly in outpost location.

Moose: Our moose hunts are run in a 1st class manner with the hunter's comfort & safety being number one concerns. We offer guided rifle or bow hunts. The 1989 Boone & Crockett record for the largest Bull in Ontario was taken on a hunting trip to Halley's.

American Plan: While on your canadian fishing trip we have two full-service American Plan lodges for you to choose from, Kettle Falls Lodge or One Man Lake Lodge, both on the beautiful English River making for great walleye & Northern Pike fishing vacation.

Housekeeping Cabins: Caribou Falls Landing has housekeeping cabins on Umfreville Lake above the Caribou Falls Dam. The perfect location for a ontario fishing trip or family vacation. Our cabin rentals are all fully modern comfortable accomodations with all the amenities

Outposts: An "outpost camp" is a solitary cabin on a wilderness lake. Fully modern with indoor showers & electric lighting. All you need to bring are your fishing rods, tackle, bedding, groceries, then relax & enjoy great walleye, northern pike or bass fishing

Amenities / Open Winter: Halley's camp is an open winter resort where you can enjoy the snow with cross-country skiing, tobogganing, snowshoeing, and of course, snowmobiling. We are within easy access to some of the most prime ice fishing waters in Northwestern Ontario.

Cabin Rentals: For a family vacation to Ontario our Housekeeping cabin rentals available at Caribou Falls Landing located on the English River System or at any of our fly in outpost locations are fully modern comfortabel accommodtaions.

Cottage Rentals: Enjoy a beautiful log cottage rental for your fishing trip to ontario and your own private fly in fishing lake such as Bee, Chase, Doswell or Salveson Lake

Air Services: River Air, a charter air service, is based in Minaki, just 15 air miles south of the English River. We provide a scenic transport to whichever fly-in camp you are going to. Once there, you may wish to arrange a daily fly- infishing trip.

Guides / Fishing: While on your Ontario fishing trip with Halley's, if you like to a use the services of a fishing guide, we have a team of experienced outdoorsmen who will guide you to the best fishing and hunting spots.

American Plan Fly In Lodges: One Man & Kettle Falls are american plan fly in fishing lodges. Perfect for total relaxation after a busy day fishing.
