Hunting Trips: Hanson's Hideaway Lodge offer hunting trips in selected remote wilderness areas, primarily fly-in, with some boat-in options. Enjoy first class accommodations as well as professional guides and staff.

Fishing Trip: When planning your canadian fishing trip, Hanson's Hideaway Lodge has it's lodge on Crow Lake with a private landing on Lake of the Woods, or for the remote fishing trip our fly in outpost lakes.

Winter Activities / Snowmobiling: For you snowmobiling enthusiasts, why not sled on our thousands of snowmobile trails in the Nestor Falls, Ontario area or even better go snowmobling to that favorite ice fishing hole on Crow Lake or even Lake of the Woods

Walleye: Go fishing for walleye at either Hanson's Hideaway Lodge or Gateway North Outposts. Hanson's Hideaway Lodge is just minutes away from Lake of the Woods, which has some of the best walleye fishing in northwestern ontario.

Muskie: Muskie abide in Crow Lake in good numbers and there are excellent opportunities for trophie musky. Spring muskie fishing is a truly exciting time to fish Crow Lake as you can often see a dozen or more fish in the 36 inch to 50 inch class in a day.

Northern Pike: For a Canadian Fishing trip, if baitcasting is your preference and you don't like to go long between fish, this may be for you. Northern Pike and lots of them, with excellent opportunities for the possibility of a trophy northern pike on Crow Lake.

Bass / Smallmouth Bass: Smallmouth bass fishing is well known in the Lake of the Woods area and Crow Lake is no exception to excellent bass fishing as well. Smallmouth Bass tournaments in the Lake of the Woods area are becoming well known.

Conservation Fishing: Whether at our main lodge on Crow Lake or one of our Outpost cabins on Miner, Beaverhouse or Ajax we encourage our guests to practice conservation fishing & enjoy catching&releasing to keep the fishing you are enjoying now to last for years to come.

Ice Fishing: Winter ice fishing is on Lake of the Woods is well known for it's fantastic crappie fishing. We offer full winter ice fishing vacations whether it be fishing Lake of the Woods or Crow (Kakagi) Lake.

Trout / Lake Trout: Ajax Lake one of our outpost lakes offers great Lake Trout fishing, trout fishing is best in early spring and late fall.

Crappie: Lake of the Woods is well known for it's crappie fishing and our lodge has a private landing at Steven's Bay for our guests.

Black Bear: At Hanson's Hideaway Lodge in northwestern ontario we hunt Black Bear in two exclusive, vast bear management areas. All hunting is from baited stands and is all from our remote boat-in locations.

Moose: At Hanson's Hideaway Lodge we offer moose hunting packages that include your accommodations as well as all your meals. Whether you prefer a fly in or a remote boat in we have packages to accomodate your needs

Deer: Ontario Big Game White Tail Deer Hunting at Hanson's in Nestor Falls offers packages that come complete with meals & accomodations. Throughout the season we will see several bucks in the 200 to 230 pound range & have taken deer over 250 pounds.

Boat Rentals / Fishing Boats: When fishing on Crow Lake our fishing boats rentals are 16.5 boat and 40HP electric start Yamaha outboard for your fishing pleasure.

Housekeeping Cabins: Hideaway Lodge is a drive-in destination in Nestor Falls, with seven fully equipped modern housekeeping cabins. They range in size from two bedroom to three bedroom and all are equipped for light housekeeping and all bathrooms are fully modern.

Outposts: Hanson's has three fly in outpost cabins on Ajax, Beaverhouse and Miner lakes. Miner lake outpost is a large cabin that can accomodate up to 8 persons with 4 bedrooms. Beaverhouse has a new 3 bedroom cabin and Ajax is the smaller two bedroom cabin.

Cabin Rentals: Our cabin rentals located on Kakagi (Crow) Lake in the Nestor Falls area are all fully modern cabins with Satellite TV. If you visit us in the winter months, you will stay nice and warm as all the cabins have electrical furnace systems.

Cottage Rentals: At Hanson's Hideaway Lodge our cottage rentals have all the amentities of home, fully modern 3 piece bathrooms, fully equipped houskeeping kitchens, decks overlooking beautiful Crow Lake to take in a spectacular Northwestern Ontario sunset.

Drive In Access: Located in a sheltered bay on Kakagi (Crow) Lake, Hideaway Lodge is a drive in destination. Nestor Falls, Ontario is located 70 miles from either Baudette or International Falls, MN.

Family Vacations: Hanson's is your family vacation destination. Enjoy great fishing, swimming from our sand beach area on beautiful Crow Lake, we have canoes and kayaks for your use. Relax and enjoy your vacation with us.

Guides / Fishing: Fishing at our lodge on Crow Lake or any of our outpost lakes does not require a fishing guide, but guide service is available for those who wish.
