Fishing Trip: For your canadian fishing trip to Sioux Narrows, Indianhead Lodge is on Snake Bay, just off of Whitefish Bay on Lake of the Woods. Snake Bay is approximately five miles long and 3 miles wide and has dozens of islands that create very protected water.

Hunting Trips: At our lodge near Sioux Narrows, Ontario we offer hunting trip packages for grouse, whitetailed deer, and ducks.

Swimming: Come and take a dip in our million acre "pool" - Lake of the Woods. Our lodge has a beautiful sand beach, a great place for swimming while on your family vacation to Sioux Narrows, Ontario

Walleye: A walleye fishing trip to Lake of the Woods, you will find a lake that will produce. In spring enjoy shallow water casting, in summer we fish humps & reefs, in fall they move to shallower bays. Walleye are common & trophy walleye are caught yearly.

Muskie: Lake of the Woods is famous for its muskie. Trophy Muskie are often caught and 30 to 40 pounders are not uncommon. Whitefish Bay has marvelous musky fishing.

Bass / Smallmouth Bass: Smallmouth bass anglers come to Indianhead Lodge for some of the best bass fishing in Ontario. Fishing Snake Bay on Lake of the Woods in the Sioux Narrows area will result in catches of smallmouth and largemouth bass.

Northern Pike: On your northern pike fishing trip to Ontario big northerns can be found along weedlines on Lake of the Woods near Sioux Narrows . Northern pike in the 20 pound range are caught and released every year. Pike are both in Snake Bay and Whitefish Bay.

Trout / Lake Trout: The Lake Trout in Whitefish Bay on Lake of the Woods spawn in the fall and move into shallow bays, such as Snake Bay, for spawning. The fish stay there throughout the winter and in early spring they can be found by top water fishing in Snake Bay.

Crappie: In the spring and fall Lake of the Woods is well known for having great Crappie fishing.

Deer: There is fantastic hunting for whitetail deer in the Sioux Narrows area of Northwestern Ontario. Plan your deer hunting trip to Canada and you will have great hunting with trophy bucks a real possibility.

Black Bear: Guided or unguided black bear hunts are available during the fall at our resort. The Sioux Narrows area of Lake of the Woods is thick with bears in many different color phases.

Birds / Grouse: Fall is grouse hunting time at Indianhead Lodge in Sioux Narrows, Ontario. Combine a fall fishing trip with bird hunting and you will have a great vacation.

Routes / Canoeing Routes: Follow some of the original canoeing routes and take a paddle on Lake of the Woods and listen to the silence!

Boat Rentals / Fishing Boats: We have lund and princecraft 16' & 18' aluminum boat rentals with 20 & 40 h.p. motors. The 18' boat are floored, w/ raised casting decks, trolling motors, fish finders. We also have a 21' guide boat w/175 hp motor.

Family Vacations: Indianhead Lodge in Sioux Narrows, Ontario is a perfect spot for your family vacation. Our sandy beach is wonderful for kids, with lots of sand toys. We have a canoe, kyak, and a paddle boat that you are free to use.

Guides / Fishing: If you are looking for some pampering we have a 21 foot Guide Boat with 175 hp motor. Your very knowledgeable fishing guide will take care of finding the fish. Canadian Shore lunches are available with guided trips, making your day perfect.

Drive In Access: Enter at Fort Frances, Canada 's border crossing and follow hwy 11 to 71 where you can drive in to Indianhead Lodge just south of Sioux Narrows, Ontario off of Highway 71.

Amenities / Games Rooms: Our Recreation Hall & games room has a spectacular view of Lake of the Woods. There you can enjoy our woodburning sauna & pool table. There is also satellite TV & Video games. On the deck outside is an 8 seater hot tub overlooking the lake.

Amenities / On-site Bait & Tackle: At our lodge on Lake of the Woods we have a on-site bait & tackle shop where we stock milk, eggs, bread, staple goods, pop, tackle, bait and souvenirs.

Licenses / Fishing and Hunting: Our lodge in Sioux Narrows on Lake of the Woods also sells fishing licences, hunting licences and gas.

Amenities / Handicapped: We have a brand new lake front cabin rental on Lake of the Woods that is handicapped accessible.

Amenities / Satellite TV: Our lodge has satelite TV in both our recreation hall and in our guest cottages.
