Winter Activities / Snowmobiling: The Trans Ontario Provincial system is the connected series of snowmobile trails that are groomed and maintained by local snowmobile clubs. It is difficult to get lost snowmobiling here; maps of the TOPS trails are well marked with signs.

Spa / Whirlpools: One of our hotel units in Nestor Falls contains a whirlpool at no extra charge.

Hiking: Enjoy hiking through the woods around our resort in Ontario and see many different species of birds and animals.

Playgrounds: For children we have a nice playground for them to enjoy. Your family will definitely enjoy a vacation to Nestor Falls.

Canoeing & Kayaking / Canoeing: Our canoeing trips will take you on a fully equipped & guided experience that you will not forget. The lakes we take you back to are lakes that most people fly to. These waters are not heavily fished, they are beautiful remote lakes.

Fishing Trip: Fishing on Crow Lake and Lake of the Woods presents the angler with an opportunity to catch many different species of fish. Take a fishing trip to Canada this year.

Hunting Trips: We offer hunting trips for whitetail deer, grouse, wolves and ducks. Starting in 2006, we now offer black bear hunts in an new exclusive wilderness area.

Walleye: Enjoy great canadian walleye fishing on Lake of the Woods in Nestor Falls, Ontario. There are trophy walleye over 10 pounds in the lake as well as many good eating size fish.

Muskie: When on your fishing Vacation at Muskie Bay Resort you will find both Crow Lake and Lake of the Woods are famous for their excellent muskie fishing. Trophy musky are caught yearly.

Bass / Smallmouth Bass: For an Ontario smallmouth bass fishing trip to our resort in the Nestor Falls area, you will find on they are fun to catch & are known for their fighting abilities. Fish up to five pounds are not uncommon when fishing on Lake of the Woods.

Northern Pike: Northern pike are plentiful on Crow(Kakagi) Lake and some fish will challenge your skills as a fisherman. When you spend your fishing vacation at our resort, that trophy northern pike you've always wanted is swimming somehwere in our waters.

Ice Fishing: January and February is prime time for ice fishing for Lake Trout and Crappies on Lake of the Woods. Northern pike and Walleyes during March and April. For the angler that is interested in remote fishing, you must bring your own snowmobile.

Trout / Lake Trout: At our resort in Nestor Falls Lake trout fishing is popular both summer and winter. Crow (Kakagi) Lake is well known for it's ice out Lake Trout fishing, at this time of the year they can be caught easily with just about any lure.

Crappie: Enjoy excellent fishing for black crappie. Many of our guests prefer ice fishing for crappie in February and March.

Perch: While fishing from our resort on Crow Lake, yellow perch are an abundant species and easy to catch and make for an excellent canadian shore lunch.

Deer: Hunting whitetail deer is excellent in the Lake of the Woods area of Nestor Falls. The boreal forest provides great cover & ample food supply & the deer populations have never been higher, we can supply you with a hunting guide or hunt on your own.

Black Bear: We are very excited to offer a fall black bear hunt in Northwestern Ontario. This exclusive new allocated territory is for guests only and hasn't been previously hunted, ensuring a large population of bears. Our guides have many years of experience.

Birds / Grouse: Ruffed and sprice grouse can be found nearby. Enjoy the beautiful fall colors and hunt for grouse at the same time.

Birds / Duck: There is a wide variety of ducks as Lake of the Woods is situated along a major migration fly way.

Wolf: Enjoy wolf hunting during the winter months in Nestor Falls, Ontario.

Boat Gas: Boat gas is available right at the resort for your convenience.

Boat Rentals / Paddle Boats: Take your children out for a paddle boat ride while on your family vacation.

Boat Rentals / Canoes & Kayaks: We offer a fully guided canoe trip through some of the most beautiful Canadian country. Scenic waterfalls, majestic sunsets. Includes canoe, tent, three meals.

Boat Rentals / Fishing Boats: For your convenience 16 ft fishing boats equipped with 40 hp 4 stroke Honda motors & bow-mount trolling motors are available to rent. Your boat will be serviced & waiting for you each morning. If bringing your own boat, there is ample dock space.

American Plan: An American Plan fishing trip at our resort on Kakagi Lake is available to everyone, especially to those who want to leave all the work to us & just relax. We offer an eye opening breakfast, a tasty box lunch for on the lake, & a home-style dinner.

Housekeeping Cabins: We have seven fully modern rustic cabins rentals, our housekeeping cabins all overlook Crow Lake & are equipped with all the comforts of home including electricity, refrigerators, stoves with ovens, microwaves, coffee makers, pots, pans, & much more.

Cabin Rentals: We have six cabin rentals on Crow Lake in Nestor Falls, Ontario are fully modern housekeeping cabins & equipped with all the comforts of home.

Cottage Rentals: At Muskie Bay Resort our cottage rentals are equipped with decks, lawn chairs, picnic tables and grills. Enjoy your canadian family or fishing vacation with us in comfortable and clean cottage that all over look Crow Rock Lake.

Amenities / Open Winter: We are an open winter resort located in Nestor Falls where you can snowmobile miles of groomed trails, through rugged wilderness, view the lakes & the vast forests that are breathtaking & enjoy areas of high cliffs,deep valleys & frozen waterfalls.

Hotels / Motels: Our four unit Hotel/Motel located in Nestor Falls,Ontario, three of which have kitchenettes are located on the third floor above the main lodge and dining area. Each unit sleeps three people, with one unit containing a whirlpool at no extra charge.

Family Vacations: Muskie Bay resort in Nestor Falls is an ideal family vacation destination. There is lots of activities for the kids to do while parents enjoy fishing or relaxing. A water trampoline, paddleboat, swing set & fire pit are provided for your enjoyment.

Drive In Access: If you are looking for a drive in resort on Crow(Kakagi) Lake in beautiful Nestor Falls, Ontario, while vacationing with us you can also access Lake of the Woods.

Amenities / Pets Allowed: We have a pets allowed resort on Crow Lake, but will be the responsibility of the pet owner.

Guides / Fishing: Fishing guide services, with your boat or our guides boat, are available on either Crow Lake or Lake of the Woods. For scheduling purposes, requests for guides must be made at the time of booking your reservations.

American Plan / Modified: Try our modified american plan which consists of a housekeeping cabin with the evening meal. Enjoy your own change of pace for fishing during the day then sit back relax and let us wait on at night.

Amenities / Games Rooms: Our Lodge provides a home style games room setting for meeting with old friends or making new. This ample comfortable setting is available to play cards, watch satellite TV or just swapping fish stories.
