Imagine 275 square miles of untouched wilderness where Ontario's largest moose population roams freely and hunting is permitted only with primitive weapons. It can be found on the Auluneau Peninsula, located near Sioux Narrows in the Lake of the Woods region.
Wildlife is Preserved in Its Natural Habitat
We have
preserved a home for our wildlife so that you don't have to travel far to catch sight of moose, bear, or a deer with her fawn. You'll also find some very unique and majestic birds in Sunset Country, including pelicans. Blue Lake Provincial Park in Patricia region is a haven for the bald eagle and blue heron. ear Falls has long been recognized as the bald eagle capital of North America.
