Sauger : Sauger are caught in this area. They are commonly mistaken for walleye. You can catch almost every fish species at Pipestone Point Resort on Lake of the Woods, Kenora. A true Ontario fishing destination!

Perch: Perch fishing is Northwestern Ontario is excellent throughout the season. Catch a perch and try it at your Canadian Shore Lunch! They are a very tasty pan fish.

Trout / Lake Trout: Lake trout inhabit the cold, deep, dark depths of Lake of the Woods. In many instances, you will require down riggers to reach the depths they inhabit. Lake tout fishing in this area will result in a successful day!

Crappie: Crappie are a favorite of many anglers. Fishing for crappie in Ontario is exciting and great for the kids!

Black Bear: Our fall black bear hunt has a high success ratio. Hunt using active pre-baited stands. Prices include guide service and baiting & tracking (skinning is extra). This is a seven day hunt on American plan only, with 3 meals a day. Minimum of 2 people.

Birds / Duck: Ontario duck hunting trips at Pipestone Point Resort include cabin, meals, boat, motor, daily maid service and transportation to and from swamp. Hovercraft are used in swamp area.

Deer: Ontario deer hunting in the Lake of the Woods area is excellent. Late October and into November are prime times for deer hunters looking for a trophy rack. Stay at Pipestone Resort for your deer hunting trip.

Boat Rentals / Fishing Boats: We offer fishing boat rentals. Our boats are all 16 foot Lund boats with 25 HP Mercury motors, equipped with padded swivel boat seats, depth finders, and landing nets. With safety in mind marine band radio handsets and life jackets are provided.

Cabin Rentals: Our cabin rentals on Lake of the Woods are furnished in warm knotty pine and sleep up to six people. The cabins are fully serviced and each has the luxury of a private whirlpool bath. Enjoy a cozy warm fireplace on one of our deluxe cabins.
