It is a recognized Ontario legend. The meandering shoreline rimmed with thick green forests and granite rises provide an unaccountable number of quiet secluded bays. Watch Beaver at work, see Moose, deer and Black Bear. Watch Bald Eagles soar, nesting Osprey, Hawks, Cormorants, Pelicans and, of course, be serenaded by the calls of the Loons. Other wildlife you can see bear, wolves, whitetail deer and moose. Wildlife photographers willl enjoy the many opportunities they have to capture a great image.
Lake of the Woods also offers a wide selection of sport fish. This includes Walleye, Sauger, Northern Pike, Lake Trout, both Largemouth and Smallmouth Bass, slab sized Crappie and Perch as well as world class Muskie.
