Area Attractions Make sure you visit the Dryden Information Centre located next to the city's mascot "Max the Moose". Max stands 18 feet tall and weighs nine tons. A favorite pastime of many of the locals, fishing season brings in the opportunity to catch Walleye, Northern Pike, Muskie, Smallmouth Bass, Lake Trout, and Perch on various lakes in and around Dryden. The City of Dryden is centrally located in Northwestern Ontario, along the Trans Canada Highway (17). Dryden is near the centre of Canada, half-way between Thunder Bay, Ontario and Winnipeg, Manitoba. The city is home to several hotels and motels with approximately 300 rooms available.
