Summer Vacations in Eagle River, Ontario

Eagle River, Ontario is a small community located between Vermilion Bay and Dryden in the southern section of the vast Patricia Region of Sunset Country. The community is known for its reputation as a resort destination with access to the incredible fishery on Eagle Lake. Eagle Lake is one of Northwestern Ontario's largest bodies of water and has abundant populations of walleye, northern pike, bass, muskie and lake trout. Despite its small size, Eagle River is definitely one of the most popular destinations in Sunset Country and the surrounding area is home to a wide variety of lodges and resorts offering Housekeeping and American Plan fishing packages, hunting adventures for big game such as bear, deer and moose, and family vacations. To get to Eagle River, take Highway 594 from either Highway 17 or Highway 502.
