Sleeman, Ontario

Located west of Emo along the banks of the Rainy River is Sleeman, a small quaint rural community. Near Sleeman is the location of the Manitou Mounds also called the Kay-Nah-Chi-Wah-Nung Historical Centre. This area is of deep significance to local aboriginal people with its spiritual importance. Tours of the Mounds and the Interpretive Centre are available.
