It is the headwater of the Meandrine River. meandrine gets its name by the way it "meandrines around". If you decide to explore the whole lake don't forget your map! Meandrine has stained coloured water and is about 40 feet deep with many weed beds and narrows to fish for walleye and northerns. From Meandrine you can access Cherrington Lake for lake trout and No Name Lake for more walleye.
