Dogtooth Lake
Relaxing in the Shade

Luther Village Camp is on the South shore of Dogtooth Lake on Echo Bay in the Canadian Shield. Echo Bay reaches depths of 80 - 100 ft which means great trout fishing in the early spring. Dogtooth's Lunker Bay, a short ride to the Northwest, has numerous shallow weedy inlets famous for smallmouth bass and walleye all year round. Dogtooth Lake itself is miles long and wide with a portage to Bob Ray Lake and a river (no portage necessary) to Kilvert Lake. Kilvert is another body of water with varying depths and fish ranging from crappie, northern pike, walleye, bass and lake trout. A quick portage off Kilvert takes you to Gayle Lake - a clear, quiet uninhabited body of water. Contributor: Luther Village Camp
