This lake is accessible by road but only for those with a 4x4 and a boat trailer with over-sized tires. The lake is also known for good small-mouth bass fishing and the occasional big northern pike. While hard to get to, the trip is usually worth it especially if you want to catch a lot of trout or a particularly large muskie. Muskellunge up to and exceeding 50 inches lurk in this lake but because of the gin clear water, present a greater challenge to the angler than in say, Lake of the Woods or Eagle Lake - but these big fish are definitely there!Dryberry is also a haven for wilderness canoeists as the lake has many small islands with excellent campsites and some great natural scenery including a waterfall. Travelers to the lake will also have the chance to see the abundant wildlife on its shores including moose, black bear and deer as well as loons, eagles and herons. Make sure you bring your camera.
