Welcome to Stanley's Resort. Located in Northwestern Ontario, Stanley's is family owned and operated since 1950. Stanley's is the premier drive-in housekeeping resort in all of Northwestern Ontario. Positioned on the rugged Canadian shield, and surrounded by untouched boreal forest, it is lakeside living at it's finest!

Stanley's is located on the West Arm of Eagle Lake, which is a secluded and narrow, 16 mile channel that is only 1½ miles at its widest point. This stretch of Eagle Lake, is home to six varieties of fish, all of them starting within sight of your cottage. Your Canadian fishing trip to Eagle Lake can't be beat. Eagle Lake itself is 90 miles long with over 65,000 acres of water. If you do want to go exploring beyond the West Arm there is plenty of room to do so, but we find it is not necessary to do so much traveling. Positioned all around the West Arm is a series of smaller portage lakes that our guests have access to via a short portage. We have placed the boats, motors and gas on the other side of the short portage (10 - 65 yards). All you have to do is carry you fishing gear across.

Our cottage rentals on Eagle Lake are five star quality cottages. All our beds are extra long, and the cottages come complete with all the bedding and linens. Kitchen and bath towels are changed daily. All our cottages feature living rooms with satellite TV, 4 piece baths, automatic electric heat, sundecks, patio furniture and Weber grills. Kitchens are fully equipped with modern electric ranges. a full compliment of utensils, dishes, glasses, pots & pans. Every cottage includes an electric toaster, coffee maker and microwave. Double bowl sinks with hot and cold running water, large refrigerators with freezer compartments complete your vacation cottage. We even include extra amenities like coffee filters, garbage bags and dish soap.

While our main resort is a drive-in resort on Eagle Lake, we also offer fly- in fishing at our outpost on Papaonga Lake. Experience true wilderness fishing for walleye and northern with only a short 20 minute flight from Ear Falls Ontario.
