Fishing Trip: Our fishing trip package includes: Cottage/Houseboat, 17' Lund Boats with 50 h.p. motors, fuel, bait & fishing licenses. Also same fishing package with a 18' Lund w/ 90 h.p. or a 19' Lund w/ 115 h.p., stern trolling motor, & bow-mounted electric.

Golfing: You wouldn't think Golfing is something you can do when visiting Lake of the Woods. There are three Golf Courses to chose from - one small one locally and two in Kenora (a one hour from Tomahawk). Enjoy some golfing with your fishing trip!

Swimming / Sand Beach: Our sand beach is in a private cove away from the marina where you can swim and sun bathe to your heart's content. A swim raft with slide is a hit for those who want action on the water. Good Beaches like Tomahawk's are not common, so come and enjoy

Ecotourism: If you enjoy ecotourism Lake of the Woods is part of the Canadian Shield of Pines, Rock, Water, producing great scenery. Bald Eagles, bear, moose, deer & birds are abundant. Fish and enjoy in God's natural great outdoors, it doesn't get any better

Shopping: Sioux Narrows has some of the finest Gift Shops in the entire area. Also, you will find excellent restaurants and dining establishments. In Kenora, (a one hour drive) there is: a museum, cruise boat tour, casino, paper mill tours, golf courses

Walleye: The Walleye are abundant when your spend your fishing vacation at Tomahawk on Lake of the Woods. There is nothing like a meal of fresh caught Walleye. Tackle used is jigs with minnows/leeches or worms on a Lindy Rig. Season opens 3rd Sat.of May.

Northern Pike: Northern Pike are numerous on Lake of the Woods in the Sioux Narrows area for your ontario fishing trip. They are fun to catch and can be caught on most any type of lures: spoons & spinner baits most often used. Open season all year.

Bass / Smallmouth Bass: Lake of the Woods in the Sioux Narrows area has excellent smallmouth bass fishing adjacent to Tomahawk Resort so there is no need to travel far for great fishing. Smallmouth are chunky and abundant and some largemouth bass. Open season all year.

Trout / Lake Trout: Lake Trout fishing is at its best the first few weeks after ice out. Down riggers generally used for summer fishing. Lake of the Woods offers some clear deep water where the trophy trout are lurking.

Muskie: A Canadian fishing trip to Lake of the Woods is a must for any musky fisherman as it is renowned for it's large Muskie. Use big Husky Jerk type baits or Bucktails. Season opens third Saturday of June. Minimum size limit of 54 inches.

Crappie: Crappie are found in several Bays on Lake of the Woods. Fun to catch when you find them actively feeding. Use a tear drop jig with a small minnow or twister tail - trolling with a small beetle spin works to find schools. They are a great pan fish.

Deer: We offer deluxe accommodations for the serious deer hunt. Whitetail poulations in our area are excellent

Boat Rentals / Houseboats: Cruise Lake of the Woods on a deluxe Tomahawk Houseboat rental. They are 16' x 50' in size & are fully equipped with spacious quarters to accommodate 6-8 persons. Large living/dining area, fully-equipped kitchen, three-piece bath, & a huge top deck.

Marinas: Our Marina on Lake of the Woods in Sioux Narrows has boat rentals (17', 18', & 19'), docking facilities, fish cleaning & freezer facilities, guides, gas, bait, & lakecharts. Floating docks with electrical hook-ups & concrete boat launching ramp
